Sectional sofa couch with this living room, we're working on it's a rectangle living room, so we don't have a lot of space to work with right now we have a two-eater couch that's taking up a good amount of space and it fits perfectly. But what they're lacking is enough space to have guests over they're finding when they come over, there's only enough room for two on the couch they have to start bringing in chairs in the dining room which they want to avoid. So for this space. If you brought in another couch, you'd, be losing so much room just because each of the couches will have their arms when you, but the arms up you're losing that corner.
If you can utilize it that corner do it, especially in small living spaces, we want to open up and maximize this space, so bringing in a sectional is going to be perfect. Now, how do you know if you need a sectional? Well take a look. Do you want more seating space? You want it? Yes, sectionals are excellent for that, because you lose the arms that I mentioned, how we're going to measure for it. What you want to do is start with a back measurement to get over the wall.
We're going to go against it inches measure out at the end of this couch, we're eight feet we're also two feet away from the wall. So with that being said, you're going to gain an extra two feet of seating right in that space right away by adding sectional, I wouldn't go to nine feet because we have a buffing a hush here behind me, and these are patio doors so you're going to Want access to go back through if you go to nine feet, you're cutting it really close with your traffic, and it's not going to be nice to walk through. So eight feet is a maximum length for this back wall.
The next side of Josh and the maximum amount of space we have to work with is 10 feet, so we can have a sectional 8 feet long. This way, 10 feet long against this wall, which means, if you find a sectional in the store, that's 8 feet by 8 feet. It's going to fit your maximum size is 8 feet by 10 feet. You want to keep in mind, left and right. Sometimes, when you have a sectional you'll have a little part that doesn't have an arm or a pillow or siding, which kind of makes it look like a and attached on a little pouf. When you have those, you really want to make sure what side is on left or right.
