Raipur. Chhattisgarh Madhyamik Shiksha Mandal (CG Mashim) has fixed August 30 as the last date for the renewal of accreditation to the institutes that are conducting classes 9th and 11th in the academic session 2014-15 while those conducting classes 10th and 12th in the session 2015-16. These institutes will be required to apply online for the renewal of accreditation until August 30. Secretary CG Mashim informed that the institutes applying for accreditation on the date decided by Board, will be required to submit their certified application along with the accreditation fee and an attached form at Board office Raipur until September 5 2014. Application from institutes starting 9th and 11th class will not be entertained after the fixed last date.…

Raipur. Chhattisgarh Vyavsayik Pariksha Mandal (CG Vyapam) on Thursday, declared the model answers for Nayab Tehsildar recruitment examination. Not a single question has been removed from the model answers published. Model answers have been uploaded on the website of Vyapam. Examination was conducted in two shifts on July 20 and of the total 1732 registered candidates, 1469 candidates had appeared in the examination. Claim objections on the published model answers will be accepted only until August 6 till 5:30 pm. Raipur. Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) has started preparations for the Civil Service Examination - 2014. Department in a letter has requested for demand letter for the vacant positions of civil service from the General Administration Department. Advertisement will be published until November. PSC secretary Rita Shandilya informed that the number of vacant positions will be fixed based on the demand letter from all departments. Later, will be designed, the format for advertisement. Meanwhile, there will be no changes in the pattern of PSC examination. Examination will be conducted based on the old syllabus.

Raipur. Counseling for admission on the graduate courses at Indira Gandhi Agriculture University (IGAU) will soon be held again. Several students have failed to take admissions on the seats that were allocated after the first phase of counseling on the scheduled dates. As a result, the counseling will be re-conducted for admission on the 190 seats of SC, ST, OBC and General Category whereas after the first counseling, candidates were not found for 111 seats of special category.

Raipur. Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University (PRSU) on Wednesday, declared the results of MA Political Science (Previous & Final) examinations. Of the total 2175 students who had appeared in the examination, 1808 were able to clear it while 357 students were declared fail. Similarly, of the total 1467 students who had appeared in the Political Science (Final) examination, 1344 students have cleared the examination while 87 were declared fail. OBC and General candidates who have qualified in AIPMT have opposed of giving admission in medical colleges to those scoring below the cut-off marks and have demanded to allow admission to only candidates that come from ST category and have qualified the AIPMT. As nearly as 760 candidates have qualified in AIPMT this year of which only 32 candidates come from ST category. On the other hand, representatives and ST students have started demanding admissions to those scoring below cut-off also.

Raipur. 10th and 12th board supplementary examinations of Chhattisgarh Madhyamik Shiksha Mandal begun on Monday. Students who had failed the main examination were also given a chance to appear in the supplementary examination. As a result, about 1,50,000 candidates had appeared in both examinations.
